Abundance of ripe blackberry, cherry with hints of cocoa. The palate is super silky displaying ripe fruits and liquorice. Despite the alcohol level the wine is fresh on the palate and extremely balanced - this is definitely not jammy nor heavy. Exuding finesse, elegance and with great concentration this red is a pure sunshine in a bottle.
This is a very very delicious wine produced by Violaine and Xavier de Franssu. The appellation Saint-Chinian is located just a few kilometres from Béziers.
Xavier and Violaine de Franssu’s complicity is perceptible. Composed and reflective, bright and astute, they have created their treasured Mas de Cynanque from scratch and the superb wines they produce have a soul.
